F.H.E Down on the Farm

Tonight for family home evening we decided to clean out the shop. It still has a lot of organizing, but I think we made a small dent compared to what it looked like before. My favorite part about this shop is the oil pit. (It's covered with boards) I can picture the old '72 in there getting an oil change :)

 

 

Later we had a hot dog roast with our friends the Willardsens. Travis fashioned us a firepit out of the many cinder blocks laying in the yard. It's definitely a redneck fire pit, but we all enjoyed the nice night around the fire.

The kids loved roaming and playing in the unorganized piles. Sometimes I look at it and get a little overwhelmed with the task at hand, but then I also get a little excited when I think of what it someday will become.
